In the aerospace industry, quality, precision, and reliability have always been essential requirements. Today, however, these elements are no longer enough: customers and major industrial groups increasingly expect partners to demonstrate a tangible commitment to sustainability as well.
It is within this context that Lomec Aerospace’s journey takes shape. In 2024, the company published its first Sustainability Report, marking a strategic step toward a more responsible industrial model structured around ESG criteria.
A concrete investment: the new photovoltaic system
In line with this vision, Lomec Aerospace has recently made a significant investment in energy, with the goal of reducing the environmental impact of its production activities.
In November 2025, a photovoltaic system installed on carport structures in the parking areas in front of the facility became operational, with a total capacity of 330 kW.

This design choice follows a clear logic: optimizing existing surfaces without interfering with production areas, while at the same time improving the usability of company spaces.
The system, built with polycrystalline modules, makes a significant contribution to renewable energy generation, reducing dependence on traditional energy sources and improving the overall energy efficiency of the facility.

A project in progress
This journey is not limited to a single intervention but is developing through a continuous improvement approach.
A second wall-mounted photovoltaic system is currently under construction and will be operational by July 2026, adding an additional 71 kW of capacity.
A structured journey: from the first Sustainability Report to the ESG strategy
The investments in renewable energy are part of a structured path that Lomec Aerospace has initiated over time and is now a central component of the company’s strategy.
In 2024 the company published its first Sustainability Report, marking an important step toward a more conscious and transparent industrial model. A path that found continuity in 2025 with the publication of the second Budget and will continue in 2026 with the presentation of the third.

This development demonstrates how sustainability is not treated as an isolated initiative, but as an integrated strategic lever that drives investment, processes and development over the long term.
A commitment that continues
The path started with the Sustainability Report and continued with investments in renewable energy shows how Lomec Aerospace is evolving its industrial model.
These are not isolated interventions, but a clear direction: integrating technology, efficiency and sustainability to build an increasingly competitive, responsible and future-oriented supply chain.
